Betty Hula came to Sprint with a problem a lot of independent brands face: she had a brilliant product range - around twenty different bottles, creams, and cosmetics - but no clear way to present it. Walking into a trade show or an indie market with a collection of individually packaged items and hoping people understand what the brand is about isn't a strategy. It's a gamble. What she needed was a display that could do the talking for her - something that brought the whole range together, communicated the brand clearly, and gave buyers and stockists the confidence to place an order on the spot. Sprint designed and produced a countertop display unit (CDU) in full CMYK print on double-walled corrugate - vibrant, structured, and configured to showcase each SKU intentionally. The brief had a hard deadline: the display needed to be ready for an upcoming show that mattered enormously to where the business went next. It was ready.


Walking into a show with a professionally produced display unit changes how a brand is perceived. It signals that the business is real, that the range is considered, and that the person behind it means it. For an independent founder navigating the beauty industry, that signal matters enormously. Betty Hula left that show with orders and went on to establish the brand as a serious independent operator in the UK beauty market. Sprint's role was, as it often is, behind the scenes. The CDU wasn't the product. But it's what made the product impossible to walk past.
